- Registration is completed via a Secure Server administered by LeagueUSA, a nationally recognized leader in Online Registration administration. This is the same company used by the NPBA last year and New Paltz Soccer and most other area leagues. There have been NO known issues.
- Registration is for both New Paltz Baseball and New Paltz Softball. Please note the different age cutoff dates for Baseball and Softball.
COACHES:
- If you are interested in Coaching or volunteering in any way, Please use the Register Now link at the bottom of this page and choose 'Volunteer' from the list of Divisions. - YOU MUST sign up Online to coach. - DO NOT rely on saying you want to coach in your child's registration form. - If you do not fill out a separate registration form as a volunteer, accept the waiver and background check fields on the form, you will not be contacted to coach in 2010. - If YOU order the wrong size shirt, you will be responsible for the cost of any replacement shirt you request, if the new shirt is attainable from our vendor prior to the season start date. Babe Ruth Inc. requires coaches to be certified through their Cal Ripken training program that can be accessed at www.baberuthleague.org.
PLAYERS:
- Multiple player (Sibling) Discounts are available as in past years. Please register your chidren consecutively And / Or save your multiple player discount code from the first child's Email confirmation.
- T Ball is a co-ed league for boys and girls ages 5 and 6. INSTRUCTIONAL - Non-competitive
- Rookie League (Baseball and Softball) is for 7-8 year olds. INSTRUCTIONAL - Non-competitive
- Minor League (Baseball and Softball) is for 9-10 year olds. COMPETITIVE
- Major League (Baseball and Softball) is for 11-12 year olds. COMPETITIVE
- Babe Ruth Baseball is for 13-15 year olds. COMPETITIVE
- Babe Ruth Softball is for girls 13 to 15 years old. COMPETITIVE

T BALL (5-6): Your Child MUST be 5 by April 30, 2010.

SOFTBALL
ROOKIE SOFTBALL (7-8) Your Child MUST* be 7 by January 01, 2010.

PLEASE NOTE: * Please see note in right column about playing up. # Participation in the Majors (11-12) or 13-15 Babe Ruth Division does not mean that your child cannot play Modified Ball at school. Dual participation under Babe Ruth rules is ENCOURAGED in this instance.
In order to register for any fall/winter/spring clinics you must be a registered NPBA participant. If you ARE NOT Registered for the 2010 NPBA Season your Clinic Registration is subject to denial. | PLAYING IN A DIVISION THAT YOUR CHILD IS NOT AGE APPROPRIATE:
In order to "Play Up" Your Child MUST be within one year of the required age for the Division they wish to play in, AND, they MUST attend the PLAYER EVALUTION for that Division . Evaluations will be announced in advance. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to attending the Evaluation. If your child does not attend for whatever reason they will NOT move up. Players who opt to attend the evaluation to play down may not pitch down.
REGISTER YOUR CHILD ONLINE in the DIVSION YOU WANT THEM TO PLAY IN and Check the "Not Age Appropriate" Box on the Registration Form
You will be notified of the results of the Evaluation. If you disagree with the decision of whether or not your child may 'play up', you may Appeal the decision to the Registration Commitee.
If you register your child for the 2010 season and subsequently decide that your child will not be playing during the 2010 season you may request a refund. However, please note that you will be charged a $5.00 administrative refund fee, and the actual cost of your child's uniform will be deducted from your refund.
Please doublecheck the size you order for uniforms. This applies to Players AND Coaches. If you order the wrong size and demand a replacement, You will incur the additional expense if it is determined by our vendor that a replacement can be supplied.
