Welcome to the site for the New Paltz Baseball & Softball Association!
Since 1995, the New Paltz Baseball & Softball Association has been the official baseball & softball recreation program for New Paltz and Gardiner children ages 5 to 15 as recognized by the Town and Village of New Paltz, and the Town of Gardiner. We are chartered through Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth. These affiliations enable the New Paltz Baseball & Softball Association to have full access and use of the softball and baseball fields owned by the Village and Town of New Paltz .
Behind the scenes, our NPBSA volunteers have spent countless hours and resources adding dirt to these fields, building dugouts and batting cages, and ordering and hanging netting at the 4H building to improve the baseball and softball infrastructure in our community. Our NPBSA volunteers work tirelessly all year long setting up games and clinics, ordering and distributing uniforms and equipment, as well as coach – so that more than 600 New Paltz children are afforded the opportunity to play the great games of baseball and softball. This is what we are all about. The NPBSA has funded new dugouts at Dressel Field, Clearwater Complex, and the New Girls Field at the NP Sports Park.
The New Paltz Baseball & Softball Association is in no way affiliated with the newly formed New Paltz Baseball Academy and New Paltz Little League, and we want to make sure there is no confusion regarding this when registering your child.
We hope to see you at the winter clinics at the 4H building and on the fields in the spring.
Best regards,
Peter Rubin
President - New Paltz Baseball & Softball Association
